Recycling FAQ
Common questions about our recycling program
Is pallet recycling really free?
Yes! For pickups of 50+ pallets within our service area, there's no charge. Smaller quantities may have a nominal fee, or you can drop off at our facility for free at any quantity.
What happens to recycled pallets?
Pallets are processed through industrial grinders. The resulting wood chips are used for landscape mulch, animal bedding, biomass fuel for energy production, and raw material for particleboard manufacturing.
Can I get recycling certificates for my sustainability reports?
Absolutely! We provide detailed certificates showing quantities recycled, dates, and end products. These are accepted for corporate sustainability reporting and ESG compliance.
Do you accept pallets with nails still in them?
Yes. Our processing equipment handles nails and staples. Metal is separated during processing and recycled separately through metal recycling partners.
How often can you pick up?
We offer one-time pickups, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly scheduled service. For high-volume operations, we can arrange more frequent service as needed.
What if some of my pallets are repairable?
Great question! When we pick up, we sort through the load. Repairable pallets are separated and can be processed through our repair program. You may receive credit or payment for repairable pallets.
